A cat that you place into a bag or purse of some sort against its will and swing the bag against a tabletop until it is dead. Also referred to as a Maddy-cat.

Jackie's parents were mad at Mr. Snowball the cat and then menacingly pulled off a maddy, which made Jackie very upset.
