Stale

Adjective. The in between phase of one's journey towards becoming crunchy. During this phase the subject is aware of what they must do to become more environmentally friendly, vegan, minimalist, etc. but have not been able to completely let go of the traditional "Maximalist" lifestyle.

Just like a breadcrumb that is getting stale..it is not quite crunchy yet.

"Kristin decided to make her own homemade, zero waste, environmentally friendly, vegan, fat free, gluten free, politically correct, all natural dish soap and laundry detergent...but she still uses paper towels, buys Starbucks, and posts to Facebook from her iPhone. She is getting stale....not quite crunchy yet."

crapillary action

Similar to capillary action, this is the process that allows the brown liquid from a baby's full pant load to creep up the narrow gap between their diaper and back rolls. This can happen without a gravity assist - often the crap juice will travel in ways that seem to defy conventional physics.

As I put my hand behind baby to get him/her/it out of the crib, I got a handful of soggy onesie. CRAPILLARY ACTION!!!
