dukhobor

(meaning spirit fighter in Russian)

this term defines a person suffering an internal spiritual struggle, debating conversion from one monotheistic faith to another.

boy 1) my parents are devout Anglicans, but for some reason I don't find Anglicanism as meaningful to my existence. Should I become a Muslim, a Roman Catholic, or a Jew?

boy 2) this is completely up to you William.

William : Since it will take me a long time to make up my mind anyways, I guess I'll define myself a dukhobor then.

dukhobor

Russian for spirit fighter, this term refers not to the Dukhobor Russian Orthodox religious sect on the Canadian Prairies, but is used to define

a) a person who has a an internal spiritual struggle, debating within themselves or not to convert from one monotheistic faith to another.

boy 1) my parents are devout Anglicans, and involved with their church and everything, but for some reason I don't find Anglicanism as meaningful to my rational day to day existence. Should I become a Muslim, or a Roman Catholic, or an atheist?

boy 2) Since in Canada Church and State are separate, this is completely up to you William.

William : Since it takes me a long time to make up my mind when it comes to anything and everything anyways, on this issue I'll become a dukhobor and reach a decision eventually.
