Bora

In Mythology;

The word comes from Boreas, the Greek god of wind.

In Geography ;
Bora ( European Wind ) is a strong catabatic cold wind ( hurricane) from the north to the northeast in areas close to the Adriatic Sea. There are two types of usage in Italy (Dark Bora and Light Bora) Similar nomenclature is also used for northeast winds in other coastal regions of the eastern Mediterranean and Black Sea basins

During the Eastern European Cold Wave, the Bora dropped the temperature tremendously and froze waves several meters high on the seashore, tearing trees from the ground, destroying the roofs of houses and destroying ships.
