It is commonly used when texting, emailing and messaging (see TEMs in urban dictionary) to let a person know that a particular subject can not be discussed via the internet, phone or any other medium other than to be physically in their presence and to have privacy from all others .

Despite the continued efforts of messaging Simeon by Bobo, which were pleading with him to tell her the whole story, Simeon stood firm and said “ this is a serious matter and it would have to be IPIP if I was to tell you anymore”.

I am not one for TEMs when it comes to internet dating as I have never got to truly know someone this way, you need to talk face to face or at the very least over the phone to begin to know someone.
