DIME

Dime - to use information that someone confided to you in order to to exact well timed revenge or gain an advantage.

NOT to be confused with SNITCH,.or SNITCHING. See Below Reference:
The person who 'Drops a Dime" on someone else' has credibility and is morally correct for diming someone as opposed to a SNITCH who gives up information on a person to try to avoid arrest or prosecution or prison. A SNITCH lacks any believability, credibility or reliability, credence, trustworthiness, confidence, prestige, reputation, credit, assurance and trust among their fellow members. The SNITCH usually doesn't know the people they SNITCH on very well Whereas a person who DIMES another person, knows that person intimately or is good friends with them an must have a very good reason before DIMING out a fellow partner.

Dave owes me a hundred bucks for a month now. His girlfriend just walked in to this party. Screw it, I'm "diming" him out about the guy I saw him with at the movies the other night. I wonder how she'd like to hear about his homosexual cheating behavior? I had to Dime out Dave he owes me a lot of money and he's cheating on his girlfriend.
