Posh

“Posh” is Upstate New York/Western New England slang for K2/Spice- which has been described widely as “synthetic marijuana”, despite the fact it’s effects are nothing like those of weed. In fact, most forms of Posh these days have been criminalized for their toxic compounds and addictive nature which have led to thousands of overdoses and deaths in recent years.

My friend was on probation so he couldn’t smoke bud anymore- so instead he picked up Posh one day from the corner store and he’s been hooked ever since. Now he looks like a zombie and ended up in the hospital after overdosing on that synthetic poison sh*t. Posh is nothing but a disgusting excuse for a recreational drug.

WJ

WJ (“Dub-J”) is a new generation abbreviation/slang for WASP Junior which in short refers to people who would traditionally be referred to as WASPs (White Anglo-Saxon Protestants; In reference to upper class citizens with more political sway and/or social clout) because of their wealth, political and social statuses, but don’t meet the original racial or religious criteria that was once associated with the term as a result of cultural assimilation in the 21st century. Instead WJs are called such because they most likely have parents or grandparents that can be defined as WASPs, therefore culturally contributing to their classification and shaping their overall characteristics as a WJ/WASP Junior.

“I hate how white people always try to jack everyone’s culture. They look goofy as fuck”

“Nah bro that’s just WJ ass mfs in general. You ever see a half Mexican kid who don’t speak Spanish try to culture-claim when he don’t even know what town his family’s from? Shits hilarious.”

The Falls

In reference to Upstate New York street slang, “The Falls” is the nickname given to the northernmost part of the Capital Region and Albany/Glens Falls Combined Statistical Area. It’s mainly used by people who live in or around “The Falls” aka the cities and towns of Glens Falls, South Glens Falls, Hudson Falls, and occasionally other nearby areas such as Fort Edward, when differentiating between other areas in the Capital Region or when discussing the area in general.

“Where you livin now fam?”

“I just moved outta The Falls now I got a place down in Albany. Crime might be higher but people are way less trashy so I like it.”

The Falls

Worst place in upstate bruh I’m tellin you, “The Falls” is just some shit that some people call this shithole cuz if you’re not from the area you can’t tell where one scumbag ass place ends and where one begins like fr some people are fooled by Lake George and move here cuz it’s the closest “suburb” outside of Saratoga but in reality your neighbors will deadass piss in a bottle and leave it on your porch assuming the shit isn’t rotting away cuz your landlord lives in Pakistan and doesn’t give a fuck about y’all as long as he gets paid. And that’s another thing- the only places you can afford are trashy apartments unless you went to college for 6 years/have a career that relocated you here with a head start in life. If you from here (which most people aren’t) you’re fucked. If you’re not from here, you’re fucked cuz the shitty economy sucked you in and made you a statistic that they like to write off as “inconclusive” so they can attract more tourists. Get out while you can or you’ll end up selling drugs while your girl’s sucking dick for rent. Btw fuck that other definition it’s dumb as shit

“What’s poppin with The Falls lately?”

“Besides my neighbors keeping me up til 5am everynight with drunken arguments, Stateys just shut down the only pizza place in town that had good Pills from the kitchen so now the fiends are going crazy in the street looking for new dealers to rat out”

“Damn bro I was just tryna be nice you don’t gotta give me your life story homie”

“Yeah but this is urban dictionary and technically I’m just talking to myself cuz I’m high as shit”

“Oh shit facts my bad”
