MLT: MODERN LITTLE TROPE: An Insignicant: Parroting propaganda; slanging slogans; a noisy nonsense droid; a useful idiot; a flying monkey; middle school or at best community college; next to no significant life experience or work/career experience upon which to base an opinion; essentially an anonymous biobot with a big yap, a keyboard and no filter.

If it's a young adult male, he's probably just holding up a protest sign so his crush will notice him and he'll get some muchas smooches. That particular phenomenon has been around long enough for people to recognize it and remark upon its ubiquity and frequency

That MLT is not an Ivy League graduate. He may not live in his mother's basement, but that's really just a metaphor anyway.
