In skiing, a sliding carve. At the end of your normal C-carve, you drift by flattening the skis. Stand up tall over the downhill ski, ease out of the carve, and plot your next line. Also known as a "schmear". Popularized by Shane McConkey.

I thought I would be showing her how to shred until I saw her slarve like a pro.
