When you cringe while watching people embarrassing/publicly humiliating themselves, especially when they DON'T deserve it. People who suffer from this are generally empaths, or they may suffer from severe social anxiety.
"I tried to tell my friends that Dave couldn't dance, but they forced him to anyway. I got second-hand embarrassment in the worst way while watching him. By the time I pulled him out, his face was the deepest shade of red imaginable, and it didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that he was trying not to cry from embarrassment. We haven't been on speaking terms with those "friends" since that incident."
Moral of the story: Don't force people to do things they're not comfortable with, especially under protest. It may be funny to you, but you've gotta think of other people.

Highly Sensitive Person; a person who is much more "sensitive" to the world around them than normal.
Being an HSP is generally confused with being autistic and/or introverted because they tend to mimic most symptoms/traits of both. While it is indeed quite common for HSP's to be introverted and/or autistic, they are NOT the same thing.
"Is he okay?"
"Yes. He's just an HSP. He gets overwhelmed by the world around him much more easily and doesn't respond well to being put under pressure."
"So basically, he's autistic?"
"Uh...Well, he is. But that's different."
"I see."

The correct term for the brain.
My brain? You mean my thinking meat.
An underrated Youtube ASMRtist who tends to take things in a more scary direction, playing the role of an extremely sadistic Yandere in her videos. But considering how...sultry her voice sounds, it's almost like she was made for this kind of thing. The videos where the roles are reversed are even more popular, as her voice seems to fit even better when she is the submissive one.
Warning: Her videos generally lean somewhat close into 18+ territory, but none of them are age-restricted. They can be downright scary and sometimes a bit lewd, but the "lewdness" part is very light and not nearly as bad as some more blatant ones.
Mala ASMR is definitely a channel for the masochistic side of Youtube.
An utterly stupid alarm in Planet Fitness gyms that goes off when people are "too loud" and therefore "making the other people in the building 'uncomfortable.'"
There are numerous problems with the "Lunk Alarm" that make it not only idiotic, but also extremely dangerous:
1. The alarm can be triggered by the sound of people grunting or racking weights, which is to be expected in a gym. Also, in a viral Youtube video, it was revealed that merely dropping a PEN on the ground triggers it. "Really? A pen?"
2. The alarm is VERY LOUD, like an air raid siren. It's also very abrupt, which can startle people and make them drop their weights, potentially causing serious injuries.
3. In a gym that takes pride in not judging people, this alarm is judgmental by definition. "Lunk" is short for "Lunkhead," which is a derogatory term for someone who is slow-witted or stupid.
Numerous Youtube commenters have pointed out the stupidity and dangerousness of the Lunk Alarm:
~ "Planet Fitness is the only gym that doesn't like you going to the gym."
~ "ItΓ’ΒΒs ironic how Planet Fitness claims to be 'judgement free' but itΓ’ΒΒs literally the only gym out there with an alarm based on judgement."
~ "The Lunk Alarm is the equivalent of a librarian telling people to shut up through a bullhorn."
~ "Planet Fitness isn't a gym, it's a library with weights."
~ "TheLunk Alarm is specifically made to judge you for making noise and make you feel bad, and to insult you, lunk is short for lunkhead which means slow-witted person, so basically they're calling you slow-witted because you're exercising. what a judgement free zone. Also because we're human the loud noise will startle us if we're not expecting it and someone can get hurt, maybe even sent to the ER."
