A term coined from a well known (but true) folk tale. âA Juliaâ refers to someone who is in denial of something that is obviously true. The origin of a term came from a girl named Julia, who couldnât read whatsoever, yet she would swear that she could, even that she was an avid reader. Her name was eventually coined as a slang term.

In these studies, a highly respected research group ran a series of tests to find if âHailey Burkeâ is attractive (despite her beliefs).
