SILC

SILC is a chatting protocol much like IRC. However, SILC is focused on security, and channels don't start with a #. It stands for Secure Internet Live Conferencing.

There are currently two clients for SILC. One is the official SILC client which is run in a text console, or terminal. The other is Pidgin.

One: Hey, let's chat on this new SILC thing, instead of IRC.
Two: What's the use?

One: I need to tell you government secrets and SILC is more secure!

Two: Umm... ok.

Gone and done an Adblue

When you intend to do one thing and through distraction, incompetence or absent mindedness you do another.

An event with disastrous consequences that could easily be avoided with common sense or paying attention.

Used when carrying out a task and you do something that clearly was you being stupid and completely avoidable.

"I've gone and done an Adblue as I was bitching about Steve in a text to my mate Ken and sent it to Steve by accident."

"I've gone and done an Adblue and put the car in reverse rather than forward and drove the car through my downstairs wall"
