A'Tuin

Character / Element in the Discworld series, often referred to as "Great A'Tuin". Species of star turtle (Chelys Galactica) that carries the four great elephants Berilia, Tubul, Great T'Phon and Jerakeen on it's back, who in turn support Discworld itself.

Gender is unknown.

Great A'Tuin is the foundation of the foundation of Discworld.

Fictional race described in Frederik Pohl's Sci-Fi novels. Starfaring and technologically advanced. Nothing is known or described about their physical appearance.

Mankind only encounters ruins and artifacts of the now exctinct Heechee, thus uncovering pieces of evidence for the history of the universe.

Heechee artifacts sell for a high price due to their rarity.
