The first time you drop a personal electronic device such as a phone or an ipod.

Typically occurs within the first week of owning a device, prompting the owner to realize he/she should get a fucking case already.

Occurs especially while drunk at parties.

Owner: oh fuck maing, I just dropped my new iPhone 4 while taking a shot
Friend: what the hell dude haven't you gotten a fucking case already?
Owner: Naw, I meant to yesterday but I thought the virgin drop wouldn't happen for at least another week.
Friend: Shit, don't you know how the virgin drop works?
