laks

Norwegian term for money, used in increments of a thousand. The term laks is often used with an attitude where money isn't an issue, and an item's price is more of a bragging right.

Boys, I bought a Rolex yesterday. It was 50 laks.

Gutta, jeg kjøpte en Rolex i går. Kosta 50 laks.

grandis

Informal for the popular frozen pizza brand "Grandiosa", sold in Norway.

Is best served using the box as a plate. That becomes a problem when there are two pizzas in the same box
Jokingly called Norway's national dish due to it's popularity.

Couldn't bother making dinner yesterday. Threw a grandis in the oven.

...225 degrees, 12 minutes, and you have a perfect grandis.

Statistics say that 30% of people eat grandis on Christmas Eve.
