To have a close-minded approach to different ideas and concepts, mainly music. Can also be used in a sentence to describe a person that is hesitant about something.

EX 1:Person 1:"Hey, check out this indie rock band."
Person 2:"Fuck them dude, they sound like Fall Out Boy."
Person 1:"You haven't even listened to th-"
Person 2:"Dude, just listen to the Pantera I have on my iPod."
Person 1:"...fuck you. Don't pull a Carter on me."

EX 2:
Person 1: "Hey, did Ricky ever buy that new brand of frozen vegetables?"
Person 2: "Nah, he said that they were too gross."
Person: 1: "Damn, I thought so. He's so close minded, he pulls a Carter every time."
