“Byul” is a word used to describe something that is both good and bad in a strange, unexplainable way- oftentimes if you are unsure if you really like it or not.

"Byul" originated from Moonbyul, a member of the Korean girl group Mamamoo. It was extracted from the second half of her name.

Person 2: What do you mean?
Person 1: She’s really pretty but in a weird way? Like there’s something off about her but I can’t tell what it is.
