GIF - One of the most fought over words pronunciation-wise. GIF stands for Graphic Interchange Format. As a result, it is pronounced GIF, not JIF. As Graphic has a hard G, not a soft G, it is not pronounced the same as the famous peanut butter brand, JIFF.

Hey, did you see that GIF of the kid falling off a roof? It was hilarious.
The GIF was perfectly looped so that it lined up.
