The X-Men are a fictional team of superheroes that appears in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The X-Men were created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby, and were first published in 1963. They are among Marvel Comics' most popular and lucrative intellectual properties, appearing in numerous books, television shows, films, and video games.
The X-Men are "mutants": humans born with superhuman abilities. They fight to keep the peace between normal humans and mutants in a world where anti-mutant bigotry is widespread. The X-Men are also famous for their frequent encounters with their archenemy Magneto, the Brotherhood of Mutants, the mutant exterminating Sentinels, Mister Sinister, Apocalypse and the Hellfire Club.
The X-Men exist in the Marvel Universe with other characters portrayed in Marvel Comics series. As such, it is unsurprising that they often meet characters from other series, and the global nature of the mutant concept means the scale of stories can be highly varied.
The X-Men fight everything ranging from mutant thieves to galactic threats. Historically, the X-Men have been based in the Xavier Institute, near Salem Center, in north-east Westchester County, NY, and are often depicted as a family. The X-Mansion is often depicted with three floors and two underground levels. To the outside world, it had acted as a higher learning institute until the 2000s, when Xavier was publicly exposed as a mutant at which point it became a full mutant boarding school. Xavier funds a corporation aimed at reaching mutants worldwide, though it ceased to exist following the "Decimation."
The X-Men benefit greatly from state-of-the-art technology. For example, Xavier is depicted tracking down mutants with a device called Cerebro which amplifies his powers; the X-Men train within the Danger Room, first depicted as a room full of weapons and booby traps, now as generating holographic simulations; and the X-Men travel in their widely recognized and iconic Blackbird jet.

A YouTube Video Mash-up is the combination of multiple sources of videos which usually have no relation with each other, other than a derivative work, often lampooning its component sources or another text. Many mash-up videos are humorous movie trailer parodies, a later genre of mash-ups gaining much popularity. To the extent that mash-ups are 'transformative' of original content, they may find protection from copyright claims under the "fair use" doctrine of U.S. copyright law.
The following (below) are just a few actual examples of YouTube Video Mash-ups that can be found on YouTube:

1. The alias of the crime-fighting vigilante, The Shadow.
2. "The Living Shadow" was the first pulp magazine story to feature The Shadow. Written by Walter B. Gibson, it was submitted for publication as "Murder in the Next Room" on January 23, 1931, and published as "The Living Shadow" in the April 1, 1931 issue of "The Shadow Magazine". This story introduces the literary version, as opposed to the radio version, of The Shadow.
Powers and Abilities:
The Shadow, aka The Living Shadow, has complete control over his vocal cords and can throw his voice (producing a chilling laugh that can paralyze opponents) and accurately mimic anyone. He has an nearly photographic memory and is also a master of disguise and slight of hand. The ability he is most known for, however, is his amazing skills at stealth that make him akin to "a living shadow," to such an extent that rumors evolved that he can "cloud men's minds." The Shadow is a world class intellect.
The Shadow is a master of stealth and espionage who went by the nom de plume "The Dark Eagle" during World War I and worked for Tsar Nicholas as part of an inner circle known as "The Secret Star." It was the Tsar who gifted Kent Allard with the mysterious Girasol gem that he wears in a ring and uses to hypnotize people.
During the 1920's he spent some years in the mysterious city of Shambalah where he learned many oriental disciplines, such as complete control over his body's vital functions, as well as various martial arts.
When The Shadow resurfaced in the 1980s, it was apparent to those that knew him that he had not aged at all! Therefore longevity must be added to his list of disciplines.

The Green Hornet and Kato crossover into Batman TV series:
Van Williams and Bruce Lee made an appearance as the Green Hornet and Kato in the 1960s Batman TV series.
They appeared in the episode "The Spell of Tut" and also in the two-part second season episodes "A Piece of the Action" and "Batman's Satisfaction".
The Green Hornet and Kato (Van Williams and Bruce Lee) visit Gotham City to bust a counterfeiting stamp ring.
The Green Hornet: (taking routine inventory on his gadgetry before cruising into action) "Hornet gun...check. Hornet sting...check. Let's roll, Kato!"

The YouTube Versus Video is an online video-debate on YouTube whereby the host of the video will discuss a hypothetical fight involving some of the better known fictional protagonists from the media of films, television, graphic novels, and video games to decide the likely winner. The host of the video will aim to present the argument for both opposing protagonists in a fair and impartial manner; this process is achieved by highlighting all the relevant strengths and weaknesses (if any) of the opposing protagonists, as well as all relevant background and historical information relevant to the debate; after all the facts have been addressed, the host will then draw a conclusion as to who -- in their opinion -- would win the hypothetical fight based on all the relevant evidence. The YouTube Versus Video is not a one-way process, and the host will usually invite the (unbiased) opinions of viewers in the comments section of YouTube to discuss the fight. Note: the key difference between this type of video and others on YouTube, is this: other videos, often non-contentious, can BECOME a flame war when some viewers disagree with something or someone they've seen;the YouTube Versus Video is specifically for the purpose of sensible and unbiased comments about the fight being discussed. Furthermore, this video is not The Flame War Forum (theflamewarforum.friendhood.net), a forum that is entirely based around flame wars.
