Flangler

Someone who, in response to a question they know is the start of a joke, insists on supplying their own punchline, thus ruining the joke.

Yelena is such a flangler, she totally just ruined my joke.

Shorthand for amateur. Insult used when someone makes a move or error displaying amateurity, or exposes lack of knowledge or depth on a subject.

Jack: do you think Iran will won a war against the USA?
Tom: no Jack, that's such an ammie question.
