squad

An obnoxious term used by just about every equally obnoxious college student, used to describe their clique of friends. Most squads form during the first semester, and if you are slightly different from the members or the members decide they do not like you for no reason, you cannot join. You also cannot join a squad if you did not already join at the beginning, because the people in them are too immature and narrow minded to realize that they should include everybody. The word can be heard just about anywhere on any college campus.

Joe: Hey man, I know we just met but do you wanna hang out Saturday?
Mike: Nah, I'm hangin' out with my squad.
Joe: Aw, cool! Do you mind if I tag along?
Mike: Yes I do mind actually, because you are not part of the squad. What, you think you can just join?
Joe: Well I'm being friendly to you and you were just being friendly to me, what's the harm if I come along and meet some of th-
Mike: NO! YOU'RE NOT ALREADY PART OF THE SQUAD, YOU CAN'T COME! THAT'S FINAL!
Joe: Why can't everybody just include everyone?
