an initially minor bill in the senate that attracts add-ons and/or changes until it begins to "look like it has something for everyone"

The proposed legislation was looking more like a Christmas tree bill every day.

an unattractive marketing mistake that occurs when a girl or woman, typically but not necessarily an overweight or obese one, wears low rise jeans that do not fit properly and push up the excess abdominal fat as a result (originally Australian, so called because it resembles a baked muffin spilling over it's paper)
