The feeling when you have gotten so used to an individuals nickname or other alias, that calling them by their real name feels forced/wrong.

Nate: Hi bob!
Bob: Hi Nathan...?
Nate: Why'd you sound so strained?
Bob: I'm just more used to calling you Nate, so that felt weird. Is there a word for that?
Nate: Oh! That's the Dailar Effect.
