A person who you refuse to admit to a relationship ship with due to shame, embarrassment, or already being in a relationship. Or a loose or sexually active person you might complicate your life with.

“My girl is trippin over a “Knot” from the other night. Might have to cut her off, can’t have loose ends and get caught up. Can’t have another public “entanglement”.
