To brag about something you also lied about.

Girl A: "Girl C keeps brying about sleeping with Guy D, but I know she's totally lying and it's pissing me off every time she talks about it."
Girl B: "I know, yesterday she said the same thing about him sneaking into her bedroom and sleeping with her all last night, but I saw him that same night smoking weed with his friends by the football field when I went to... never mind."
Girl A: *scoff* "I can't belief she would lie about something like that, and brag about it too!"
