Domi Mode

This is the situation where a deaf or partially deaf man puts in both his hearing aids and turns them off so that he can't hear his girlfriend nagging or otherwise being irritating.

I'd just been out with some friends for a great dinner. When I got home I didn't want the night to end up ruined so I went into Domi Mode.

Can be used in situations where your colleague knows what you mean but the wider audience hasn't got a clue!
