Virtue Signal

Virtue signalling is when somebody superficiality advertises their support for a cause and goes out of their way to publicly condemn others in order to seek validation. Drawing attention to their self righteousness to appear morally superior.

Karen: “You’re a jerk because you wear Nike, don’t you know they exploit people overseas”.

Andre: “You’re Chanel bag was made overseas too, virtue signalling doesn’t make you any better than anybody else!”.

Virtue signalling is a superficial attempt by somebody to flaunt their self righteousness.

Often condemning others to gain attention, validation or showboat moral superiority.

Jada: “Andrew called me a polluter, but he drives a car with the worst fuel economy!”

Will: “You know he doesn’t about the environment, he’s only virtue signalling”
