history major

One of the only true majors out there. One of the only majors where you receive a real education. All "great" people had some knowledge of history. An opposite of this major would be a Business Administration Major. One does not necessarily have to become a history teacher upon graduation. Hell, a history major without much direction could become that business major's boss someday.

Oh, you're a Business major? What you're still taking ESL classes? No, not all history majors become teachers.

A place with few venues for local bands, Christmas in the Park, and crazy Santa Clara cops in the next town over (which is all connected so you can't really tell).

Bad traffic and a bad nightlife.

"Hey! San Jose is 45 minutes away from SF!"

introvert

A very broad term that is misunderstood, but an "introvert" may contain one or more of these qualities. It pretty much comes down to choice however.

One who focuses on the inner world of thoughts and ideas.

One who gains energy from alone time, one who thinks before they speak.

"Look, I like hanging out with you, but you're making me tired ok? I'm an introvert!"

Usually at least 5-6 people in any given year for a class (Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior, Senior) will have this last name. There is a high percentage that at least half of them will or have participated in badminton.

A sport where if you're a "dry" novice. You will be plagued with terrible, apathetic judges and crazy old directors. Where they say things like "distance parry" and give points to people that hit your foot or your mask!

Go electric as soon as possible!

"Oh man, because I won against him during pools, now he's not even looking while judging! How awesome."

lineage 2

An MMORPG (what a generous term for this game) that involves countless hours of grinding. Makes Everquest look like a racing game in terms of advancement.

Mathematically speaking, one would have to kill approx 1.2k mobs to reach near the end of the leveling treadmill.

I was rejected from Cal and UCLA, but I was accepted into UCSD. Oh well.
