A casual term used to refer to people in surprise or when you're lost for words and have nothing to say/ when you're half asleep and it's the only word you can think of. Also used to refer to close friends, in an affectionate way.

Friend: Hey, guess what?
Me: What bruh?

Friend: I pooped the my little pony figure I swallowed yesterday.
Me: -.- Bruh...
