To smoke weed in a small, enclosed space. Usually done in a car or blanket fort.

Friend: "Dude, let's go hot box the closet."
Other friend: "We can't, my mom's home. We'll have to hot box the car."
Friend: "That's cool, we can drive to 7-11 when we get the munchies."

"I wanna go on a date where we're hot boxing a blanket fort. How romantic!"
