Louise Brooks was a fantastic writer, dancer, flapper, and silent film star known for resisting hollywoodâs misogynistic studio system as well as her spectacular performance in both Pandoraâs Box and Diary of a Lost Girl, directed by the acclaimed GW Pabst. Later in life, she would find a new purpose in writing essays and comments on film and hollywood. Many of them are found in her book, Lulu in Hollywood.
