Yankee Doodle

Yankee Doodle: a derogatory and mocking term for a hillbilly.

Originally used by the British as a wartime song, "Yankee Doodle" was used to mock colonists, calling them what we'd call "dumb country bumpkins", "Doodle" meaning "foolish" and "Yankee" to describe the area they were from.

I use it as a derogatory term for a hillbilly that pisses me off. A real life example is: "Here I am, unable to get this job because some dumbass Yankee Doodle fuck is the manager's cousin."

To me, that's a war reference as well because if I'm pissed off that much, it means I'm fighting a battle. Considering where I live, the Yankee part fits too.

"I don't know how this dumbass Yankee Doodle got the job when he damn sure isn't qualified."
