A romantic or sexual relationship that is undefined, thus creating a painful and/or confusing experience for both parties involved.

“Woah, woah, Jessica. I love having fun with you and all, but I don’t want to be tied down. Don’t get me wrong, you are perfect for me… but just not right now. I see this as more of a situationship.”
