DAT slang for Digital Audio Technology equipment. Portable sound system used in film making.

Munting

The VERTICAL dividing piece in a multi-paned window frame. (As opposed to the horizontal divider/s which are called mullions.)

The rock, having been partially deflected by the munting, cracked the window rather than shattering it entirely.

Early to mid-Twentieth Century term for Spittoon. Rhyming slang, I assume.

Her smouldering butt hissed as it landed in the full-to-overflowing gaboon.
