âYouâre rubbing the mintâ is its translation from Romanian but it is used to tell someone they are not doing anything.
It comes from the idea that rubbing mint on a table was one of the more pleasant works a slave could do, and it was very easy.
âIar stai Èi freci menta?â = You are rubbing the mint again?
âNu mai freca menta!â = Stop rubbing the mint!
It is a nickname used by the âbombardieriâ kind of people in Romania
â- DÄ-te cÄ vine Èefu tÄuâ
(- Get out of the way âcause Èefu tÄu is coming
Translates to âlike dickâ but it usually refers to bad, terrible or other similar adjectives.
It is used in Romanian often to express current state of emotion or to tell someone how they look, also may be used to specify the quality of something.

âArÄÈi ca pulaâ = You look terrible
âMÄ simt ca pulaâ = I am feeling awful
