Bibliosynchronicity

Of or relating to a strange phenomenon where as you're reading a new book things occurring in the pages mimic or are extremely similar to your actual real life.

Examples of this would be similar months (book says May and it's actually May) whilst reading the book.

You watch a documentary on Jackson Pollock only to find a huge unbeknownst reference to his paintings and life in the book.
You read an article on Frederick Law Olmstead only to be surprised that he's endeavors and name have made an appearance in the book you're reading.

After putting the book down for the night the bibliosynchronicity was on the forefront of my mind. This new book I was reading was mimicking my present circumstances with the man I was dating right down to his wife having died. The similarities were eerie.

Shloople

This phrase was used to describe the bronze coins collected by Lord Nooth in the movie Early Man. He would sit beside a large plate full of coins made of bronze while putting them in his hands and say "shlooples! I love my shlooples!" .

A man can't have enough shlooples!

Book Depression

After you've finished reading a phenomenal book you feel lost and melancholic. You want the characters, time, places, and the whole lot to keep going forever like a sitcom or a weekly skit. A book that becomes a part of your life, those are the best kind.

After taking the place card out, Zazzy was suddenly struck with book depression. How would she ever go on without her companions keeping her afloat?

Squatchy

Squatchy, verb, "skwatchy". Also used Squatchin'.

A term of endearment for Sasquatch, Big foot or even a Yeti. Often used to represent the rebellious good side of our nature. To stand up for oneself and believe in all things magical including but not limited to space aliens, unicorns, dragons, and yes! Even oneself.

The term also has its big feet in forest bathing, forest conservation, ecology, habitat loss and how to help keep the Squatch safely survive under the cover of our forests.

Squatchin is also a verb that plays on Squatchy. This means I've gone to find myself in the forest and to hopefully come back illuminated and full of peace, love, and believing in oneself.

Stay Squatchy my friends!
