Too Hypothetical

A phrase used to describe a situation in which a hypothetical question is excessively wrong or inappropriate given the circumstances.

John: "Hey sis, if I weren't your brother, would you have sex with me?"
Jamie: "I can't answer that, John, because it's too hypothetical."
