Roll with the Wrinkles

Compare to "Roll with the Punches". Accepting one's new face wrinkles. Not being depressed that one is getting older. Accepting the aging process.

When I look in the mirror these days (I'm 58 years old) I get so depressed when I see all the new wrinkles that appear. However, I have decided to "roll with the wrinkles" and accept the fact that I'm getting older. I will grin and bear it.

Buttlevate

The discreet, gentle lifting of one's butt off a chair in order to allow the expelling of gas.

During dinner John was so bloated that he had to discreetly buttlevate his butt off his chair to let out the gas in his stomach that was accumulating due to all the beans he was eating.

Murphy's Far Falling Unreachable Theory

The theory that when we accidentally drop an object (where ever we happen to be at the moment) it no doubt falls or rolls to the farthest, unreachable place. It is a mysterious theory that never fails to happen.

I was putting on my make up and my lipstick fell on the floor. Murphy's Far Falling Unreachable Theory kicked in because it was no where to be found. I had to hunt and excavate the room in order to finally find it behind the dresser under the rug.

Gusband and Gife

Gay husband and wife. Could be any combination: Man married to a Man. Woman married to a Woman. The matrimony of two gay people. Could also be Gusband and Gusband. Or...Gife and Gife.

Suction Seat

The name given to the chair infront of your computer that you sit on to go on line. Once seated in it and going on line (facebook, aol, google, news, etc) it sucks you in to a much longer period of time than you planned.

I call my computer chair my SUCTION SEAT because although I only planned to be on line for 20 minutes, when I looked at the clock after finishing, I was on line for 2 1/2 hours!

According to my suckometer, my life today isn't too bad. It sucked much worse last week.
