when someone has punched above his weight to lock down a fittie. often impressing the lads, he has snared a girl that would usually be well out of his league.

chippety chip

the annoying habit of females (particularly wives and long-term girlfriends) to talk relentlessly at you without any purpose, direction or joke. much like the continuous and never-ceasing noise of a chainsaw cutting through a tree, or a woodpecker pecking away at some bark.

1. i was trying to watch the fulham game and all she did was chippety chip for the whole 90 minutes
