origionaly rich white boys or girls from the suburbs are called preps. They have rich parents and the wear alot of polo ralph lauren and go to rich ivy league schools.but some how the word prep in miami means cubans that wanna be white that dress like prettyboys.

preps in miami look like rickey martin but preps in other places look like polo ads.
