Something done by a student with an immense amount of power and influence within a school; the act of reading important happenings within the school.

My friend Carter does the morning announcements for our school, he’s kind’ve like our version of God.

on the babies

A phrase often used to affirm or agree to something, or guarantee it'll happen. On the 'babies', as in, on your children, or all children in general. Similar to 'on god', or, 'on my mama'.

Carter: Hey Sam, did you like the new Rocky movie?
Sam: ON THE BABIES, that shit was fly as fuck.

The Mud

Another name for Toledo, Ohio; T-Town. In reference to the world famous Toledo Mud Hens, as well as the fact that we be living in the turf and on our grind. As in, we come from the mud.

“Hey, didn’t you say you’re from Toledo?”
“Yessir, I come straight outta The Mud.”
