Gotcha Game

A video game that bombards you with microtransactions, usually "free to play".

The word is derived from how the games usually "get you" by luring you in with quick and rewarding mechanics at first, only to take those mechanics away and charge for them later on.

Friend #1: Hey, do you play Clash of Clans?
Friend #2: Sorry man, I don't play gotcha games.

suicide corner

When you want to kill yourself, but somebody you like or care about says that they'll kill themselves if you kill yourself.

Girlfriend: If you kill yourself, I'll do the same.
You: Fuck! You just backed me into a suicide corner

C.O.F.

Cute Old Fella, pronounced "cough" so it can be used incognito in public. Used to describe any old person that looks cute, not in any sexual sense mind you, but just generally brings a little joy into your heart just by watching him do his thing.

Friend 1: C.O.F C.O.F (gestures towards old guy reading newspaper).
Friend 2: Oh yeah, he's totally a C.O.F.
Friend 3: I hate you guys.

Ex Machina

A movie where the characters (especially the protagonist) repeatedly does things that are either impossible or highly improbable, usually in an action movie.

(Sees Tomb Raider 2018 trailer where Laura Croft does some stupidly impossible stunt)

Friend: Wow, I guess they're making Tomb Raider Ex Machina
