Pop'n Music

Another game in Konami's Bemani series. Rather than actually simulate a real instrument, the controller is a total of 9 round bubble-shaped buttons. Capable of inflicting damage upon the player as they play the game, but probably the best game in the series. Extremely popular in Japan, but almost completely nonexistent in North America.

"Nobody in the United States has a Pop'n Music machine."

Guitar Freaks

A game in Konami's Bemani series in which you use a controller that looks like a guitar to make music. The controller has three buttons and a pick-thing on it. Also links to DrumMania and used to link to Keyboardmania.

"I played Guitar Freaks a few times, got frustrated because I could never figure out how to hold the controller right, and returned to failing songs on DrumMania."

pocky

Delicious and addictive (yet overrated) snackfood. Primary source of food for obsessed anime nerds, especially at anime conventions (places you probably will want to avoid at all costs). Green tea Pocky isn't bad.

"I bought four boxes of Pocky a while ago, and everyone around me ate it. Aww."

DrumMania

Another game in Konami's Bemani series. The controller is a set of electronic drums made by Yamaha, and probably the most authentic game in the series next to Keyboardmania. Links to Guitar Freaks and used to link to Keyboardmania.

"I can only pass songs rated up to around 30 or so on DrumMania because I'm just that bad at it."
