capisci

Also written kapeesh and capeesh, the interjection "Capisci?" means "Understood?" in Italian. The final I is either weak or dropped, more so in the Southern Italian dialects, such as Neapolitan.

You touch my cake, you're DEAD, capisci?

argumentum ad grammaticam

Latin for "Argument at the grammar". To counter an opponent's argument, however the degree of validity, by simply correcting their grammar. A part of being a grammar Nazi or a pilkunnussija.

See also argumentum ad hominem ("argument at the person") or just ad hominem, where this term derives from.

"...And that's why your the worst."
"My the worst what?"
"And now you're resorting to argumentum ad grammaticam? That's lame."

yer da sells Avon

A Scots/Scottish insult translating roughly as “Your father is a cosmetics salesman.” Avon was a cosmetics company that operates like a pyramid scheme, though it is completely possible to be an Avon lady (or an Avon man in this case) and make a profit the legitimate way without recruiting new members.

Aw fuck off mate yer da sells Avon

mansplain

To explain in a condescending, oversimplified, and often inaccurate manner, without regard to the fact that the explainee knows more than the explainer, usually done by a man to a woman.

Not all condescending explanations are mansplaining; the term does not apply when the man in question is indeed more knowledgeable about the topic than the woman.

Mansplaining usually occurs on the topic of sexism, feminism, or gender inequality, but not always. For example, a male programmer could mansplain coding to a woman, despite the woman having more qualifications and writing better-quality code.

Related terms include whitesplain, straightsplain, and cisplain. The overarching thread is someone privileged explaining something to someone less privileged, about a topic the explainer knows less about.

A: “Stop mansplaining. You have no idea what it feels like to be subjected to sexism.”
B: “Feminists are ridiculous! Mansplaining is when a man’s point is discredited just because he’s male, not because he’s wrong!”
A: “What the hell, did you just mansplain mansplaining to me?”

camouflanguage

Language whose meaning is obscured by use or overuse of vague phrasing, complicated sentence structures, and jargon. Used mainly by politicians to squiggle out of a tough situation. A portmanteau of camouflage and language.

But that's camouflanguage you're using. What does that all mean?! What are you trying to say?!

suihomicide

(noun) the act of travelling to the past and/or a parallel universe and killing "yourself" to resolve a time paradox. However, that would cause another time paradox if done poorly. In which case, another time traveller must travel back and intervene the first time traveller.
Suihomicide is still a theoretical concept, but it could be commonplace with the invention of the time machine . . . or is it theoretical?

"The anime was weird. It started as a good ol' mindfuck and yandere anime, but then it turned into all gore and fucked-up shit. Then after the plot twist that the Yandere committed suihomicide to be with her love interest who died in the first world, it finally turned into a love story more fucked up than Romeo and Juliet."
