My ba

noun (also spelled mabah)

Is the unisex Western Australian take of the phrase "my bro". Use of this word is very common with todays' youth and some old school use it as well. Because of the thick Aussie accent, the r is often not pronounced, thus sounding like 'my ba' or 'mabah' however the context that this word is used in makes it acceptable to use it more commonly than "bro" due to the fact that it is used for both male and female.

"whats doin der , my ba?"

"fucken oats my ba"

"Cheers for the durry, my ba."

"Do you want to punch a billy my ba?"

"Just saw old mate my ba over there"
