flying v

A joint that contains marijuana and salvia divinorum.

Generally, salvia is more potent from a bong, or at least a pipe, but the flying V gives a nice, somewhat trippy buzz.

"Bro, you want to smoke this joint?"
"Nah man, let's smoke some salvia."
"How about we roll us a fat flying V?"
"Definately"

A homemade device for smoking pot (AKA marijuana) that consists of a plastic bottle with the wide end cut off and a plastic bag attached in its place. Smoke is drawn in through the top using a bowl or foil paper while the user pulls the bag down allowing the device to fill with smoke. The user then removes the bowl from the top and proceeds to inhale the smoke contained.

Generally, this type of smoking apparatus is used by smokers who, for one reason or another (generally, youth or noobishness) does not posess skills in rolling joints or another smoking method (ie: pipe, bong)

This is also known as a lung

14 year old: "Hey, you guys ever smoke POT?"
Other 14 year olds: "No..."
14 Year old: "Ok, let's smoke some out of my chute, watch out for the tin foil, it hurts your lungs after a while"
Other 14 year olds: "Oh boy!"

Of or pertaining to drugs. NOT a person who uses said drugs. That would be a druggie.

Robert often likes to talk about druggy subjects. For this reason, we call him a druggie.

half quarter

Typically, Canadian slang referring to 3.5 grams of marihuana. The term stems from the divisions of an ounce of the drug:
Start with 1 oz.
Split in half and you have a half-ounce
Split in half again and you have a quarter ounce.
Split again and you get an eighth ounce in the USA, and a half-quarter in Canada.

Generally sells for 25 dollars CDN, though this can vary greatly from region to region and depends greatly on quality, sometimes going as high as 35 dollars and as low as 15 dollars.

American: How much for an eigth?
Dealer: It's cheap, forty dollars.

Canadaian: How much for a half quarter?
Dealer: It's expensive, 30 dollars.

The moral? Canadian bud is better and cheaper. :)

Richard Nixon.

Since the name Dick has come to be more commonly used as slang for a penis, to say 'Dick Nixon' when referring to the man is sometimes intentionally irreverent or insulting.

Also used as a reference to the penis.

Pseudo-intelligent slang for 'pot head'

Generally used when attempting to refer to the fact without directly stating it. Mostly used by people who don't feel secure in their use of the plant, and want to keep it on the down-low.

Tim's Father: Well, you know, I caught Tim smoking some marijuana the other day. It's been ages since I did it.

Bill's Father: I gotta admit, I was quite the botanical hedonist back in the day...

Tim's Father: Huh?
