thought daughter

a play on the 'thot daughter', thought daughter is used to contradict the term. A thought daughter is a young woman who reads Sylvia Plath, listens to Fiona Apple, and is a general loser who is bad at talking to guys. She's a deep thinker who's compassionate and emotional, and prone to brooding. Thought daughters are overthinking nervous wrecks, staying up late thinking about whatever. She is melodrama and feminism and all that jazz.

"All she does is spend time in her room reading Otessa Moshfegh! She's impossible to date."

"She's a total thought daughter, man. Stay away!"
"Will do!"
