used predominately in missouri (particularly in kc/stl)

“Have you seen Dave? I’ve heard he’s been on some ate up shit lately.”

“Yeah, I saw him digging through the trash at the McDonald’s on Broadway the other day.”

“Damn, dude, that’s ate up!”
