Fouri

Fouri (noun): A person who has a habit of repeatedly leaving or quitting a job, activity, or relationship, only to return shortly afterward. This cycle of departure and return is often marked by enthusiasm each time they come back, but it’s usually followed by another exit.

"He's such a fouri — he left the project again last week, but I bet he'll be back before the month ends."

"After her fifth resignation, the team just started calling her a fouri — everyone knows she'll be back soon enough."

"He has such a fouri approach to hobbies; he quits each one after a month but then picks them back up later like nothing happened."

"I told him he was being a total fouri when he walked out on the band rehearsal, knowing he’d show up again next week ready to play."
