Jack Herer

Jack Herer(b. 1939) is the author of The Emperor Wears No Clothes, a book which has been used in efforts to decriminalize cannabis.

A former Goldwater Republican, Herer is now a pro-marijuana and hemp activist. He has written two books, the aforementioned The Emperor Wears No Clothes and Grass. There has also been a documentary made about his life. He believes that the hemp plant should be decriminalized because it has been shown to be a renewable source of fuel, food, and medicine, and can be grown in virtually any part of the world. He has devoted his life to the support of cannabis, hemp and marijuana.

Jack Herer is also the name given to a specific strain of cannabis that is considered by Herer to be among the world's finest.

This Jack Herer is expensive, but worth it.

Seasonal Affective Douchebag

Those who suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder and become nasty in December for that and the usual reasons.

I think Dad should spend December in another country, he's become too much of a Seasonal Affective Douchebag.

Speaking of 1931 - we did call ourselves Vipers, which could have been anybody from all walks of life that smoked and respected gage. That was our cute little name for marijuana, and it was a misdemeanor in those days. Much different from the pressure and charges the law lays on a guy who smokes pot - a later name for the same thing which is cute to hear nowadays. We always looked at pot as a sort of medicine, a cheap drunk and with much better thoughts than one that's full of liquor. But with the penalties that came, I for one had to put it down though the respect for it (gage) will stay with me forever. I have every reason to say these words and am proud to say them. Portmanteau of "refuse" and "repudiate" to make clear you mean "refuse" as in to refuse to accept; especially : to reject as unauthorized or as having no binding force <repudiate a contract>: to reject as untrue or unjust <repudiate a charge>.

With a couple of exceptions — Mr. Bellingham among them — interviewing pot sellers is unlike interviewing anyone else in business. Simple yes-or-no questions yield 10-minute soliloquies. Words are coined on the spot, like “refudiate”...
